Welcome to the Path of Spiritual Renovation
We are embarking on a journey of spiritual renovation and want to invite you along as we learn, grow and practice in the apprenticeship of following Jesus.
Growth and life-change is first internal and supernatural, and then it becomes external. We are only able to work out our salvation because God is at work within us. His internal and supernatural work in us is the motive and the resource for external change. Mere external deeds without the inward working of God are hypocritical and cannot satisfy him. The provisions which God has promised to use to grow you up spiritually aren’t anything new or sexy (see 2 Kings 5:1-14). There’s no “secret” that only a few experts know. What we will tell you about are the time-tested provisions that God has established for our growth and renovation. If you will devote yourself to doing them, you will change. If you turn these down because they sound basic or boring, well then... You are on your own because there is nothing else God has promised to use. The “provisions” God uses are typically referred to as the “spiritual disciplines”—they simply are the things we see Jesus and people in the Bible doing, and as a result, growing. We live in an undisciplined age. Often, spiritual disciplines are either unknown, criticized as legalistic, or misunderstood. But these are spiritual disciplines—ie, they are grace- filled disciplines. They develop the kind of faith which has rugged strength and character. They make other disciples and are essential to followers on the Path of Jesus.

"Spiritual Growth without Intention becomes nothing more than religiosity. Any form of Godliness that lacks devotion to practice and pursuit will perpetuate one's spiritual demise and downfall. It is unavoidable!" ~ John Fairrington • Spiritual Direction at The Renovation Project.
